What is Felix Cup

Felix Cup is an international UW-Rugby (Underwater Rugby) tournament, held in Gothenburg, Sweden, each year in December. Felix Cup is ranked as one of the best cups, and each year several of the best UW-Rugby teams, both men and women, participate. Rules

CMAS new International rules, decided during WC 2007, is used with the following exceptions:

• Game time ineffective time, usually 11 minutes but depends on playing schedule.
• Penalty time is 1 minute ineffective time, starting when the balls is put to play again.
• Penalty throws is 30 seconds maximum.
• You are not allowed to take "Time Out" due to the tight schedule.
• You are not allowed to replace players in the 12 man squad during each game.
• You are not allowed to "borrow" players from other teams without permission.

A game starts every 12th minute (assuming a playing time of 11 minutes), so we kindly ask every team to be prepared since we have virtually no extra time.

Other information regarding the cup

Referees	Felix DF will provide referees. Any referee that wish to participate in Felix Cup, contact Felix Cup Head referee. Due to the very tight schedule, we discourage anyone wishing to both be a referee and player in a team.
Protests	Due to tight schedule protests are not accepted in the 2010 Felix Cup.
The pool	Dimensions: 16 x 10 x 4.8 m. Temperature: approx. 28C.
Time table	Saturday 11th, approximate times 07.30 : Start of 1st game 19.30 : Last game. The actual time depends on the number of participating teams.
Travel	In addition to going by car, you can travel by airplane from many cities in Europe as well as by ferries from Kiel (Germany) and Fredrikshavn (Denmark) If you wish you can also go by ferry from continental Europe to southern Sweden to continue by car to Gothenburg.
Food	Within the swimming hall, there is a small restaurant with food & snacks. You will also find other Quick Food and regular restaurants within a walking distance.
